Team Kangaroo was born from a chat on cluster.dk . My brother Kerry 43SE122 & I do a lot of portable
DXing, so jokingly, on of my French radio friends called us Team Kangaroo. (I'm sorry, I do not remember who named us, so
please let me know via a email)
As my brother & I belong to a few 11m DX Groups, we will be activating our portable sites under different
QRZ's. For example, if we activate the Log Dump for the Wizard DX Group, we will use the QRZ of 43W/TKLD, 43 Wizard / Team
Kangaroo Log Dump. Another example QRZ, 43OK/TKSD, 43 Oscar Kilo / Team Kangaroo Sheba Dams.
I am in the very early stages of designing a universal 43 Team Kangaroo QSL card, that can be used by the
different DX Group QRZs that Kerry & I will use.
